The full form of MBPS is Megabits per Second. It is the measure of the data transfer rate measured as (Mb). Megabits per second (Mbps) generally used in communications and data technology to measure the speed of data transfer. It is different from MBps (megabytes per second). The normal conversion from MBps to Mbps is done using a small fact:
1 byte = 8 bits
Usually, broadband speeds are mentioned in Mbps to make them look huge. So when they say we have a speed of 8 Mbps, that gives us a download speed of 1 MBps according to the standards of our phone and laptop (PC). Therefore, all speed is reduced by the factor of 8.

1 mbps = 1000 kilobits
1 gbps = 1000 megabits
Now, you may think that knowing these things is not very significant, but knowing the small difference between lowercase and uppercase letters generally prevents people from being fooled! Let’s say that a service provider provides a minimum speed of 2 Mbps; Any guy who is not aware of this tricky difference would be fooled! He will get 12.5% of the speed he expected.
