The full form of CPIM is “Communist Party of India (Marxist)“. It is a national political party of India with a left-wing Communist political ideology. It claims to be a political party of the working classes of India, fighting for the issues of workers, peasants, farmers, agriculturists and others. As of 2022, CPI(M) is leading the state government in Kerala. Apart from Kerala, it has representation in the legislative assemblies of the states of Tripura, Assam, Rajasthan, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra.
