Full Form of IAS “Indian Administrative Service”. It’s one of the highest rank government job Central or State Government in India. Anyone who residence in India and clears the Civil Services Examination conduct by UPSC becomes IAS, IPS, and IFoS. All India services have three categories IAS (Indian Administrative Service), IPS (Indian Police Service), and IFoS (Indian Forest Service).

Qualification and salary of an IAS
Candidates must be resistance to India and graduate from any UGC recognized university.
Talking about the salary of an IAS officer, it is based on different structures, such as junior scale, senior scale, super time scale. The pay scales have different pay bands. An IAS officer is also entitled to an HRA (40 percent of the original or official residence). They also get DA, TA as well. In this, salary increases on the basis of cabinet secretary, apex, super time scale.
